GG56 Limited was founded in February 2019 by Dr. Han Seung-soo and Mr. Kim Young-kun. GG56 Ltd. launched the BTour Chain project to build a tourism big data platform based on blockchain technology.
Many tourist destinations around the world lack information about their visitors, they are not able to analyze the tourist traffic and consumption patterns and to apply them to their marketing strategies. This is a common issue around the world which has much room for improvement. That is why a project like BTour Chain is needed. BTour Chain aims to build an ecosystem where a one-stop tourism platform will collect tourists’ data by using BTour Chain’s smart tour devices like SoT(Satisfaction of everyThing) and share the big data in real-time through the FingeRate app. The data will be available to various Tour Element Suppliers (TES) for a fee. It can be used by TES to ultimately provide better tour experiences for their customers.
FOUNDER, Dr. Han Seung-soo
Dr. Han Seoung-Soo is a well known and respected figure in South Korean and internationally. His political career is very impressive, including high positions in the South Korean government and international organizations.
Dr. Han was first elected in the National Assembly of Korea in 1988. He served as the ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the USA and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Korea. In 2001, Dr. Han was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and in the same year, he was elected the President of the fifty-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In 2008, under President Lee Myung-bak, Dr. Han became the 35th Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea. A few years after this he was appointed Special Envoy for Disaster Risk Reduction and Water for United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.
CO-FOUNDER & CEO, Kim Young-kun
Kim Young-Kun has more than twenty years of experience in the IT area. His first company, GN corporation, was established almost twenty years ago, and till now it has participated in about 100 national projects, including the development of network management system (NMS) and eight state-run RFID/USN projects. He has also worked with top IT and SI companies in Korea. Currently, he is the chairman of BNR Korea, GG56Ltd., and the CEO and Co-Founder of BTour Chain.
